Hi I managed to sort out my GPU fan issue.. apparently I missed something in the DSDT when I updated it. I found a link at the following site (in French) http://ql.homelinux.net/wiki/doku.php?id=ubuntu-7.04:dsdt#le_ventilateur_de_la_gc_nvidia
Making those changes to my DSDT makes sure my GPU fan is at least on.. though I'm not sure if it shifts to higher speed when heavy processing happens.. still need to check it some more. The updated DSDT will be posted on the ACPI site : http://acpi.sourceforge.net/ Cheers Rax -- Toshiba P100 Fans not working properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152988 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
