I am aware of that, but I'd like it in the other OSs (Kubuntu Xubuntu) as well. Also, i read that your tool tells the User if things work, but not necessarily that it tells Canonical what works and what does not. I'd think it would be useful for the Devs and for others who want to research their hardware before anything, such as a HCL is meant for. A single button to send in the User's HCL into a database...
If this data is collected bt Canonical (by user choice) into an HCL, and the tool is in easily available in the various sub-distros, then yes you can close the bug. Thank you!
