I solved this by turning off 2.2 tb infinity setting in the bios. The
board does NOT have a UEFI bios. The installer reads off some bios
information somehow and the installer thinks if the infinity mode is on,
that this is a uefi bios. Noway nohow can this board run a uefi system
partition.

Board is an MSI 7596 760GME51

I originally thought it was uefi but it was a fake out, I have a whole thread
