I disagree with the "Invalid" status. "pip3 install cffi" downloads and installs cffi-1.11.5-cp36-cp36m- manylinux1_x86_64.whl successfully on CentOS7 X64 and Debian 9 x64 without issues.
It only fails to install the package, crashing with a core dump using the pip3 package bundled with Ubuntu 18.04. Reported here as this issue is specific to Ubuntu 18.04. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767672 Title: "pip3 install cffi" core dumps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-pip/+bug/1767672/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
