Update: After removing most of the KDE packages the initial rotation is gone. Obviously it had to do with some configuration I did in KDE.
I have meanwhile removed the Nvidia GeForce FX5200 and replaced it with a ATI Radeon 7000. Now I get a strange error message when I use Grandr: "User set screen size larger than max screen size" My screen size is 1400x1050, and I have no clue what the "max screen size" is supposed to be. -- [Gutsy] xrandr doesn't rotate the screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153668 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
