Same issue here, running Ubuntu 17.10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad T440. Touchpad + trackpoint move between these three states:
1) everything works fine: touch to click, touch pad, two finger scroll/right-click and trackpoint 2) everything except for two-finger actions work 3) nothing works: touchpad + trackpoint unresponsive All of this seems to happen at random. Putting the machine into suspend and waking it up again will put it in a random state of working/not working. This behavior was not observed when running 17.04 or 16.10. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1550270 Title: Touchpad stops working randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1550270/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
