Public bug reported:
When trying to delete all data from partition to install OS, the
installer unexpectedly crashed. When attempting to continue to reformat
harddrive and install Ubuntu Studio, the installer would go back 1 or 2
steps, repeating the process, then crash after selecting an install
type.
