Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bash

I'm running Ubuntu 6.06, and recently put my home partition on an
external hard drive. The only reason I mention this is that this had
never happened to me before then.

What happens is, after I type 'sudo' in the terminal and then the 'ap'
of apt and try to tab complete, my computer just beeps at me. *scowls*.
So I try again, 'sudo gedi' TAB, more beeps. To make sure that is wasn't
sytem wide i did exactly the same as before but without the 'sudo' and
it worked as expected. I've searched on the forums and on here but can't
find anything to help.

** Affects: bash (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
