Worth noting:

Changing amaroks default to:
/dav/hda
media:/hda
system:/media/hda
/hda
cdda:/

All still resulted in "Could not open audio cd" for me. Interestingly
when I run amarokapp from the CLI and try to open a CD (using /dev/hda
in amarok), the CLI returns repeatedly:

Amarok error: couldn't create slave: unable to create io-slave
klauncher said: unknown protocol: 'cdda'.
