Public bug reported:

For any upgrade, install, auto-remove, remove, upgrade ...

I get the following error:

/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu:
Aborted (core dumped)
dpkg: error processing package libc-bin (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 134
Errors were encountered while processing:
 libc-bin
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Tried reinstalling libc-bin, but, get the following error after
download, extract, copying ldconfig to sbin and installing libc-bin
using apt-get:

E: Internal Error, No file name for libc-bin:amd64

No updates or upgrades can be done.
