Jeremy, That may be due to the gdk bug mentioned in the gnome-control-center patch. I tried working around it there but probably need to propose a better fix to gdk (which I had started but became too busy to finish). Although I do have an alternative gnome-control-center fix in mind (less elegant) that would avoid the gdk bug better.
