Hello again: As a follow-up, I just wanted to note that I have continued to try every workaround that I have found, but nothing seems to get me past this problem. None of the updates have changed anything either. All I can do is use my hotkeys and disable the touchpad each time I boot the computer. I sure hope someone can fix whatever it is that keeps my touch pad driver from loading when I boot.
