I have made a search of odt files to find another file example to reproduce this bug and I found one file which produce the same problem: http://odftoolkit.openoffice.org/odf-toolkit.odt (BTW, among all files I have tested, some of them made writer crash when opening, I have reported it in bug #157512.)
To reproduce this: - Tools -> Options -> Load/save ->General -> Save AutoRecovery information every -> 1 minute (in order to not to have to wait a long time) - open the file odf-toolkit.odt (URL given above) - modify it (insert a character for example) - wait 1 minute until automatic saving - go to page 5: the image has disappeared, and now there is a frame with message "Read-Error" If the page 5 is displayed when automatic saving happens, the image is still visible, then I go to another page and go back to refresh display and I see the empty frame instead of the image.
