thank you for taking time to report this (and for the screenshot!).

It seems that the upgrade process is not able to shutdown correctly the
mysql database. Could you explain us the steps that led to this. From
your screenshot, we can see that you where trying to install also php7
and that you where using the (-f) of apt-get option.

May I suggest to check if mysql is running:
$ ps fax | grep mysql

Can you also give us the result of the following commands:
$ systemctl status mysql
$ journalctl -xe

Logs of the mysql DB would also be a good help:
$ cat /var/log/mysql/*
