Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
When I am several levels into a deep folder hierarchy, I often want to move a file in the current folder "up" about three or four levels. For instance, if I'm in /home/user/foo/bar/baz/bif/happy, I might want to move a file to /home/user/foo. My first thought was to drag the file to the Location Bar segment labeled "foo". This didn't work. My only alternative was to copy the file, click the "foo" segment, then paste the file into its new location. That's three steps where only one was necessary. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus browser-mode location bar segments should be drag and drop targets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157261 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
