After installing ubuntu 7.10 (and other versions) in one partition and after the installer says that for complete install we have to reboot the system, then it could be included a warning and a possibility for uninstall ubuntu from this partition (free partition space) So there is no possibility after install ubuntu in /dev/hdaX to uninstall ubuntu in livecd (free /dev/hdaX) and so we have a bug (wishlist if you consider it) I will mark it as reopen bug.
