Public bug reported: https://twitter.com/momophitas/status/953790060213817344
I recorded a video and uploaded it to Twitter for a more concise explanation. But essentially, I installed a fresh install of 17.10 from the date of posting (1/17/18, move date to far right. So weird.) of this bug report. I try to drag the program after searching for it over to the bar but nothing. Then I try and use the right-click add to favorites which just makes duplicates of the program. (Ted Crockett Bible gif). Maybe I'm missing something like Ted Crockett? *blink *blink ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.10 Package: gnome (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.13.0-25.29-generic 4.13.13 Uname: Linux 4.13.0-25-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.7-0ubuntu3.7 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Wed Jan 17 22:09:42 2018 InstallationDate: Installed on 2018-01-17 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 17.10 "Artful Aardvark" - Release amd64 (20180105.1) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm-256color PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: meta-gnome3 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: meta-gnome3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug artful wayland-session -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1743928 Title: Duplicate Items When Pinning Favorites To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/meta-gnome3/+bug/1743928/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
