While trying to get the BIOS update to a USB-Pendrive i found out on my Thinkpad x230 running 17.10 the latest kernel update make the USB not working properly :/ It show all usb pendrives as write-protected, while with the older kernel they do work. i will open another bug for this, when i can reboot to that kernel again.
