I have the same card and quite the same problem! Actually, my DWL-G520 works when it wants on Dapper 32 bits : - sometimes it's connected to my network at startup and it works well - sometimes i have to active my 'ath0' interface through network-admin and in this case, sometimes it just works, sometimes it takes time and then it works slowly or not at all - when it works [slowly or not at all], using an msn application [gaim, amsn, and even the webmessenger applet] 'weakens' my connection [webpages are marked as 'loading' but they don't]
On dapper 64, edgy 32 and edgy 64, it just doesn't work! No 'ath0' interface is detected!
