Sorry this was not intended to happen: So this should also work: *make a Bootable USBStick of Ubuntu 17.10 *disable SecureBoot in BIOS (but better read Documentation before doing so) *choose Try Ubuntu when u are ask and the Touchpad should work
Ubuntu 17.10 has a lot of Advantages over 16.04 when using the Medion p2214t like * preinstalled rotating * preinstalled touchscreen keyboard The Other solution on Ubuntu 16.04 without disabling SecureBoot would be a much more complicated since your would have to do kernal signing in order to get your new kernel module singed properly -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1400463 Title: [Medion Akoya P2214T] Touchpad not properly recognized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1400463/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
