I executed the tests the way it was written in the test steps, using 20170718-0ubuntu1(~*) on each release. I observed the crash only with the _unfixed_ 20170718-0ubuntu1(~*) version in step 4.a, where I upgraded to latest unfixed version. I'm attaching the log of the reproduction soon.
