What a blast from the past, I don't even remember filing this here. My procrastination-powered icon theme replacement while working on my master's thesis in Lyx - those were the days. I believe Tango icons were cool back then :D I learned my LaTeX skills by embedding so many ERTs that I never needed to use Lyx again once the thesis was done.
Anyway, sorry for the aside. I do remember filing a bug report upstream. Found the link in my archived mail: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/5812. I eventually wrote a patch myself that fixed the problem, and a few days later was asked to write to lyx-devel to release it under the terms of the GPL. First time I did anything in C++, if memory serves me right. Hey, look at that, my name even still appears on the list of contributors. Also, the upstream ticket was set to fixed 9 years ago, as my patch was included in Lyx 1.6.3. So by any means, you can close this ticket now, the problem is fixed. ** Bug watch added: www.lyx.org/trac/ #5812 http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/5812 ** Changed in: lyx (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/334108 Title: Lyx 1.6.1 icon replacement strangeness To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lyx/+bug/334108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
