Public bug reported: Had Ubuntu 8.04 on hp elitebook 8440p , but only for a few days. Wanted to remove it and install the 16.04.3 because wifi did not work in the 8.04. The installer could not remove 8.04, so I used the manual partition tool they offered to give the newer version the maximum room, since 8.04 was going to have to stay and it was useless. At least the wifi is working with the live 16 disc.
