I can partially confirm this regression with an Intel 2200 Card. The behaviour here is as follows: After resume from suspend to ram, the first connection attempt succeeds but NetworkManager disconnects a few seconds later. The second attempt succeeds and the connection is stable for hours. Please find a relevant snippet from /var/log/syslog attached.
