I'm using the latest (stable) version of Ubuntu Dapper Drake. I just tried to open a file on a remote FTP (which I accessed by entering my keyring password (as I had saved the original password in the keyring) and Gedit popups and asks for the password (why does it? I have allready accesed it through the keyring (I hope you understand my english). Also I tried to enter the "real" password instead of the password for my keyring but that doesnt help anything for the "authentication required"-dialog just reappears after each attempt to connect.
I have also at the same time done a backtrace but that doesn't seem to help (but I don't know for sure) but I paste it here anyway. GNU gdb 6.4-debian Copyright 2005 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
