K...so we’re getting closer! After a fresh install yet again, and following very closely the steps outlined in post #66, I am now at the lighten login screen. It will NOT let me login, it’s a constant login loop every time I put in my password. But at least I’m past boot loop. I attempted to fix the login loop by using a hack: Carl+Alt+F1 mv.Xauthority .Xauthority.bak Then back to the GUI. Unfortunately this did not work. So I am currently just sitting at the login screen, unable then login....lol
