Just a few more questions: 1) Were you seeing any issues when using a 7.04 Fiesty LiveCD? 2) I'm curious if you are able to capture any more information that may be output before and after the crash? For example when you first see the boot progress bar can you press Control+Alt+F1 and capture what you see. Digital photos will be fine as a means of capturing.
