This is a critical bug for our organization. Our VPN does not push DNS - so the user simply sees a broken network once they connect.
Our VPN is used for file and email access via the web, and the user can still be connected to the internet via their local network. The patch fixes the problem - but makes it impossible to keep up to date with Ubuntu relases.
