Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz-gtk

I'm using the version of compiz that ships with Gutsy (upgraded from
Feisty), and the gtk-window-decorator. I've got the wobbly window
plugin with the maximize and move effects enabled, and a bunch of
animations with the animations plugin, and I'm using the clearlooks gtk
theme and whatever nvidia drivers ship with Gutsy. Whenever I have a
window maximized, I occasionally see odd screen artifacts like the one
in this picture (Firefox is shown, but it also happens with nautilus and
gnome-terminal and gedit and presumably any other maximized window):

Moving the mouse back and forth repeatedly across the
minimize/maximize/close buttons is a pretty reliable way to reproduce
this problem, if only for a second. It also happens at other times -
and usually hovering the mouse over a window button will make the
decorator redraw the titlebar properly.

Let me know if I need to provide any debugging or configuration output,
and what commands to use to do so or what files to attach.
