Public bug reported: libreoffice-dictionaries upstream ships hunspell-en-us, which is properly maintained and is newer than the one currently in Debian and Ubuntu. Please consider migrating to the one in libreoffice- dictionaries. The other English variants (British, Australian and others) are already provided by libreoffice-dictionaries and are more up-to-date than the US variant.
