I have the same problem. gutsy can't print to my remote CUPS printer (http://blabla/printers/mine) anymore since the upgrade from feisty to gutsy.
/var/log/cups/error_log says: E [22/Oct/2007:17:06:53 +0000] [Job 269] Print file was not accepted (Unsupported format 'application/octet-stream'!)!
