Public bug reported:

I was trying to upgrade from Ubuntu10 to Xubuntu12.
It failed to find some lib packs
Finally it found Error 127
I tried sudo apt-get update to see if it would find the lost packs

I'd appreciate if you could supply some instructions for me to upgrade the
system since I can not even use a proper web browse.
I am an absolute beginner at on Linux.
Thanks in advance
