Public bug reported: When changing window controls to the left side. Gnome control center will not draw them correctly. the controls are drawn on the middle of the window instead of the left. I have made this change by setting /org/gnome/desktop/wm/preferences/button-layout to 'close, minimize, maximize:appmenu' in dconf-editor. this issue is not present if the window controls remain on the right hand side.
