Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sbackup
When backing up to a filesystem with a relatively small maximum filesize (such as fat32), sbackupd does not inform the user that an incomplete backup has been made, which is both misleading and dangerous as it risks loss of data. This is related to bug #144295, as preferred behavior would be to automatically split tar files when the filesize reaches the filesystem maximum. ** Affects: sbackup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- sbackup fails silently when backup reaches maximum filesize for filesystem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155718 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
