I did *NOT* have his problem with Feisty; I now have it with Gutsy using KDM/Kubuntu.
I first installed with Ubuntu Live CD, added KDE...login was messed up with *both* of them. Downloaded Kubuntu Gutsy DVD and reinstalled, login screen still messed up.
