Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Show desktop applet has gray background outside of icon area that does not respect panel colors. To reproduce: Set panel background to black no transparency. Expected result: Icon should be surrounded by black as with all other icons on the gnome panel. Actual result: Icon is surrounded with gray. To fix: Change the show desktop icon to use transparency instead of gray around the icon proper, or make this configurable. PS: I could easily fix this and submit a patch if someone could point me in the right direction for the code, however I'm really busy with school at the moment and don't have the time to hunt down the right repository etc. ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Oct 21 16:24:22 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-panel Package: gnome-panel 1:2.20.0.1-0ubuntu6 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: gnome-panel --sm-client-id default1 ProcCwd: /home/fritzs ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-panel Uname: Linux slab 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- show desktop applet has gray background https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
