I haven't investigated more than that, it looks like jfsutils does not include anything to copy fsck.jfs to the initramfs. Clearly hooks/fsck in initramfs-tools appears to not be doing its job in this case. ** Affects: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: jfsutils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1711011 Title: fsck.jfs missing from initramfs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/1711011/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
