  hi i'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and want to enable nividia accelerated graphics 
driver but when i enable it and reboot it changes the resolution to 800x600 and 
won't let me go to my 1280x1024. if i disable the driver it will go back to 
normal but i need it to play mupen64 games.
  i have a custom built computer with:
  AMD Athlon MP +1800
  NV11 [GeForce2 MX/MX 400] Video Card
  SiS 746FX/963L Chipset
- all on a PC CHIPS M848A (V5.0) A (462) SiS 746FX ATX AMD Motherboard.
+ all on a PC CHIPS M848A (V5.0) A (462) SiS 746FX ATX AMD Motherboard and a 
Gateway EV500 Monitor.
