Hi Julian, >From your log: 2017-08-08 20:06:13 24613 [ERROR] Unknown/unsupported storage engine: InnoDB
The server is restarted on the upgrade. It seems to me it wasn't having a config or running properly before - which is why it fails to restart on upgrade. Is you mysql server running fine now (=before the upgrade, as that was rerolled)? I checked and as expceted that DB type is working on Trusty when run as it comes configured out of the box. An example /var/log/mysql/error.log looks like [1]. There is no full error log, so I can't try to check see why InnoDB isn't initializing. Mabye disabled in the config?
