Public bug reported:

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System
-> About Ubuntu

Description:    Ubuntu 17.04
Release:        17.04
(installed from Lubuntu image 16.04 or 16.10 (dont remember) and then upgraded)

3) What you expected to happen && What happened instead

- I click on the default "sound" icon (provided by the sound menu of the
indicator applet)
- Menu with volume control, music player etc. opens.
- I click on "Sound Settings"
- Nothing happens. (I expect pavucontrol (or whatever) to be started)

Sorry for the amateurish nature of this bug report, but really -
features accessible directly from the default GUI of a fresh install
should work...

** Affects: lxpanel (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
