@mckub1 Hi once more,
first thanks a lot for your interest on my problem. After some new updates on several installations now i can tell some more. i never changed the setting of the interval (don't even know where i could). Think it should be something between 1 an 3 seconds (looks like). On my 16.04 Laptop it just cleared it for once at the last time. But not on the other machine with the 17.10. On the same old PC at a 16.04 partition it cleared not until a "apt-get autoremove" (random?) Pressing F5 is unfortunately not clearing the shown <number>! (which is no more correct after had done the full-upgrade). You told "...it has to do with the file dates and how long an update takes,..". May be its helpful to tell that for me it only occures some time on older slower PC. And after a reboot it seems to be always cleared. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1604750 Title: Byobu not clearing update numbers after updates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/byobu/+bug/1604750/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
