Public bug reported: Tried to install Xubuntu 16.04.2 to a USB harddisk from the desktop ISO. Installer reported an error about being unable to install Grub to /target (no problem there, I can do that myself), but then crashed completely (without any further error messages) and launched the error reporting tool.
