The 20170707 version would be ideal to SRU for Xenial (and Zesty) since it fixes the hyperthreading defect on Skylake, Skylake-X, and Kabylake. The Kabylake fix is especially important. There is a lot of demand from users for a fix, and bios updates really aren't an ideal way to deliver it.
