Hello Dave, or anyone else affected, Accepted mythtv into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mythtv/2:0.28.0+fixes.20160413.15cf421-0ubuntu2.16.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
