10202007 amd64 driver works for me (ATI Radeon Xpress 200G; mobo integrated) after I blind logged in, Ctrl+F7, xrandr... and rebooted. I also activated the ATI proprietary driver before installing Tormod's version which is recognized as the most recent. No "LVDSBiosNativeMode" Option added to xorg.config either.
