I haven't seen anything like this... Do the pastes go to a particular window (the active tab within, whichever that is), or to a particular terminal tab (even if that's not the selected tab within its window)?
Is pasting with Shift+insert also buggy? How hard is it to reproduce? How often does it occur for you?
