Getting the same problem. I have an Equium L20, 1.40 Ghz, 2GB RAM, 40GB HDD with Win XP. Starting Live CD with 7.10 (burnt 19 Oct) stops just after usplash. Hard drive and CD both stop. Live CD works fine on a Dell Dimension 5150.
