Public bug reported:

I've seen several similar reports but none exactly like this one, so I'm going
to type up a report.
When using the Gutsy alternate installer for i386, the installer fails at
"Select and install software", if i go to tty4 i can see the following (note i
don't really know how i'd get this from the other computer so i'm typing it all
myself):

### SEVERAL MORE FAILURES LIKE THE FOLLOWING ONE ###

Oct 20 06:10:42 main-menu[3380]: INFO: Falling back to the package description
for console-setup-udeb

It should be noted that the trouble occurs when 'tasksel' is shown in
the installer, and all other packages up till that point seem to work
fine. Additionally, the iso's checksum matched, k3b verified that the
image burned was the same as the iso, and finally the disk's self-check
passed.

I hope someone can figure this one out, and I'll be happy to help(i want my
gutsy).
cheers
-Dan
