Public bug reported: I booted from usb (formatted by Rufus) Ubuntu 16.04. Try ran perfectly (and still does!) so I decided to undertake a clean installation deleting all existing information. The installation commences with the progress bar getting to about 30% before the error message appears. Te installation log was automatically submitted.
