This is some sort of race condition every 15 minutes causes a flood/ddos
and will break the connection

Using v3 is not an option for me, because my provider is not offering
unix extensions with version > v1. This bug was not fixed on HWE kernels
(4.8), therefore there is no fixed version available. Please backport
the patch that was mentioned above, thank you!
